The team at Breckenholme had some fantastic news this week as we learnt that we have reached the final four in the Artisan Food Producer category in the Yorkshire Post Rural Awards.
A delighted Adam said: “We’re passionate about provenance and promoting partnerships with fellow rural businesses, so it’s great to have our passion recognised with a place in the final of these prestigious rural awards.”
In a strong final, we face competition from Stonebeck Cheese in Nidderdale, and Malton businesses, The Yorkshire Pasta Company and Yorkshire Wolds Apple Juice. The team will learn whether they have been successful at an awards ceremony at The Pavilions in Harrogate on Thursday, 29th September. The judges include Charles Mills from Yorkshire Agricultural Society, Sophie McCandlish and Emma Ryan from the Yorkshire Post, farming writer, Chris Berry and Jennifer Costello from the NFU.
