Matthew Dixon with Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil Lemon & Lavender Gin Dressing

We’re very pleased to share the news that Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil have launched a new Lemon & Lavender Gin Dressing to raise valuable funds for their charity of the year, Downright Special.

The dressing is a collaboration between Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil and Masons of Yorkshire and is a combination of local ingredients including our award-winning extra virgin Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil and their award-winning English Lavender Gin.

As many of you know, we love a collaboration here at Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil. It’s great to join forces with other family businesses, and even better when we can raise money for an excellent charity at the same time.

Downright Special was established in 2007 and helps families and professionals in all aspects of the care and education of children with Down syndrome, supporting them to achieve their full potential and promoting successful inclusion. Downright Special doesn’t receive any funding from statutory agencies like the local authority or NHS, so we’re proud to support them and help them to build a better future for children with Down syndrome in Hull and East Yorkshire.

So far this year we have raised over £4,000 for Downright Special and we’re hoping that sales of this delicious dressing will help to raise even more money as we’re donating 35p from the sale of each bottle to the charity. If you would like to make a donation to Downright Special, please follow this link Virgin Money Giving Page – every donation goes directly to Downright Special.

The dressing is delicious drizzled over salad leaves and goes really well with goat’s cheese and beetroot.
